Plymouth has been officially named Britain's worst dressed city. Some 44% in the Devon city admitted they couldn't care less about fashion or how trendy they looked. The Scots follow closely in the fashion flop stakes - with over a third (35%) of Aberdeen residents refusing to adopt the latest look. And despite Leeds dwellers spending the most money on clothes each month, they came third in the worst dressed list. The poll of 3,000 Brits, conducted by fashion website www.missbutterfly.co.uk, revealed Londoners were the trendiest. Some 38% of Londoners already had new Spring/Summer clothing hanging in their wardrobes. But Cardiff citizens look forward to new clothes hitting the shops the most - with one in five admitting they get excited by changing collections. Yet the recent high street must-haves - leggings - were snapped up the most in Birmingham, with one in ten Brummie ladies sporting the lycra look. Top 10 least fashionable cities: 1 Plymouth; 2 Aberdeen; 3 Leeds; 4 Leicester, 5 Glasgow; 6 Southampton; 7 Edinburgh; 8 Swansea; 9 Cambridge; 10 Norwich. Top ten most fashionable cities: 1 London; 2 Cardiff; 3 Newcastle; 4 Sheffield; 5 Belfast; 6 Bristol; 7 Liverpool; 8 Nottingham; 9 Manchester: 10 Birmingham.
