Robbers bet on whether they were caught by security cameras.

The pair in China were caught by police after returning to the shop to see whether their crime had been recorded.

The two robbed a gamer, Mr. Chen, of 200 yuan and his mobile phone at an e-game shop.

"We made a bet about whether the shop had a security camera, and decided to go back and check. We agreed that the loser had to treat the other to Karaoke," says 21-year-old thief Hu, of Dalian city.

But unknown to them, the victim had reported the theft to police, who had extracted the video clip and asked the shop to keep an eye on any suspicious gamers.

The pair returned to the shop again the next afternoon and were caught by police, reports Huashang Morning News.
