A Welsh company has launched a service that allows people to download the Bible direct to their mobile phones. Marketed as "faith on the move", it also offers Christian ringtones and daily prayers sent straight to your handset, reports the Daily Telegraph. The service, Ecumen, even offers an entire "Bible you can read in the dark" which can be downloaded for just £6. Erik Fok, head of sales and marketing at Teimlo, the Monmouthshire company in charge of Ecumen, believes he has spotted a gap in the market. Mr Fok, a committed Christian, said: "The market for Christian content on mobile phones hasn't been well-served. "There are young Christians out there who want this kind of thing for their phones." Mobile phone wallpaper available through the Ecumen website includes "Christian kids with purple cross", and a cartoon tomb accompanied with the words "He's alive!". Ringtones include Bread of Heaven and Guide Me Oh Thou Great Jehovah. Pastor Robbie Howells, of Newport City Church, south Wales, said: "Our mission is to get the good news out there through every medium we can. "It's getting the message across in a fun, funky way."
