A Chinese man has survived a record-breaking 90 minutes immersed in a tank of ice. Wang Jintu, 43, from China's southern Fujian province, performed his stunt at a club in Beijing, reports the Legal Evening Post. He beat the previous record of one hour 13 minutes set in Madrid in February this year by Dutchman Wim Hof. Once Weng entered the glass tank workers poured bags of ice over him until he was submerged up to his shoulders. The tank was opened 90 minutes later and Wang walked out. He needed help but was still able to wave to the audience. Wang's daughter said her father had always been amazingly resistant to cold temperatures. "Most of the time he just wears short pants - even in winter," she said. The Guinness World Records China office confirmed the new record for full-body ice endurance.
