An ex-Nasa astronaut has revealed aliens exist - and are just like E.T.

Edgar Mitchell says they are friendly with small bodies, a large head and big eyes.

The scientist, who reached the Moon on Apollo 14 in 1971, told Kerrang Radio!: "You've seen some of the pictures of these little people who look strange to us.

"As far as I know from my contacts who have had contact, that looks pretty accurate.

"They are not hostile. If they were hostile, we would be gone by now."

He insisted: "The UFO phenomena is real.

"It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it's leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it."

Nasa said: "Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue."
