The 23-year-old is standing for the seat of Stretford and Urmston under her real name of Katie Price.

Nearly 50 people turned up outside Old Trafford football ground to catch a glimpse of her as she arrived in her "battle bus", a convertible Vauxhall Astra.

The model, who dates Manchester United's Dwight Yorke, posed for pictures before revealing her policies.

Jordan, dressed in a cream halter neck top and jeans and wearing a pink paisley bandanna, told the crowd: "My policies are to make things fun. The election is boring. I'm here to spice things up."

She said a full outline of her policies could be read in the Daily Star, which is backing her election campaign.

In her manifesto Jordan claims her foreign policy is to give tax cuts to anyone having an affair with a foreign footballer as well as a free season ticket to a club of their choice.

On health, the model who has had breast enlargement operations to transform her to a 34FF, is offering free plastic surgery for all. While on Europe she says her policy is to provide cheap package holidays paid for by the National Health Service.

Today was her first visit to the constituency of Stretford and Urmston since her nomination. Earlier she met staff at a postal sorting office in Stretford.

Also standing for the seat are Beverley Hughes for Labour, Liberal Democrat John Bridges and Conservative candidate Jonathan Mackie.
