Actress Angela Griffin is expecting her first child next summer.

The 26-year-old, who used to star in Coronation Street, is now appearing in the BBC series, Cutting It.

She said: "I am absolutely over the moon. The baby's due next June. But I haven't found out the sex of the child and doubt I will. I want it to be a surprise."

She plans to have the baby at the St John and St Elizabeth Hospital in North London, says The Sun.

She and her actor boyfriend Jason Milligan are said to be house hunting in the area. Jason said: "It is absolutely top notch. We are both delighted."
