Ross Kemp says he was mistaken for a Peeping Tom while filming for a new TV series. The actor was up a tree in West London with a camera filming a scene for the ITV1 thriller The Crooked Man. But someone called the police, thinking he was spying on them, says The Sun. Kemp said: "The police turned up and had to be told by the film unit manager that I am an actor - and not a Peeping Tom." Ross plays a photographer who spies on public figures for MI5. He's caught in a corrupt web when he sees a politician tipped as a future PM killing his mistress. Kemp also had to shoot scenes in a London crematorium at 3am. He said: "It was horrible. The place had been used earlier and the ovens were still hot." |
