50 Cent has joined the list of stars performing at next month's Grammy Awards.

The rapper is up for five Grammys - including Best New Artist, Best Male Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Song for In Da Club.

Confirming 50 Cent as one of the performers, organisers said there would also be a special segment for Luther Vandross featuring Celine Dion, Alicia Keys and Richard Marx.

Hilary Duff, Faith Hill, BB King, Carlos Santana and Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler will present awards.

Previously announced performers include Christina Aguilera, the Black Eyed Peas and Justin Timberlake.

The 46th Grammy Awards take place on February 8 in Los Angeles.
