Halle Berry has been picked as the female star with the nicest nose.

Kylie Minogue came second, with Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz trailing behind.

British actor Orlando Bloom, who plays Legolas in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, was voted the male celebrity with the best nose, according to the survey from Waitrose.

He beat Brad Pitt and David Beckham in the poll of 2,500 people.

Christian Cull, spokesman for Waitrose, said: "Who 'nose' how the general public choose their favourite celebrity noses, but everyone had an opinion."
