Festival goers at Cannes Film Festival have been surprised by Colin Farrell's toilet habits.

The Alexander star shocked patrons in the men's room at the posh Chateau Marmont hotel.

According to Sky onlookers saw the Irish star pulling down his trousers before using the toilet facilities.

After taking them off, Farrell slung them over the top of the cubicle and continued with his business.

His PR woman Sue Patricola laughed off the incident.

She said: "God knows, I have travelled all over the world with Colin, but I have never experienced that."
