 Ananova:
Ferguson snubbed overseas offers

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed he has turned down the chance to manage foreign clubs during his Manchester United career.

The United manager has brought vast success to the club during his 23 years at Old Trafford, which has understandably attracted attention overseas.

Ferguson, 67, said in the News of the World: "I've had offers from clubs to go abroad, but I've never been tempted by them."

He added: "I am not going on record to say who they are, but you'd be surprised by the names.

"It flies over your head and you get on with life. You don't leave Manchester United."
