 Ananova:
Glock clocks in for Jordan

Jordan have signed German Timo Glock as their official third driver for 2004.

The 21-year-old will test for Eddie Jordan's outfit on Friday sessions prior to grand prix weekends.

Glock drove for Jordan in F1 tests at Barcelona and Silverstone and earned himself a contract with the team.

Eddie Jordan said: "Glock is one of the most promising young driving talents in Germany at the moment and I'm delighted that we're able to offer him a regular F1 testing role.

"Timo has really impressed our engineers with his testing feedback and we are now hoping to guide him through this next stage of his career with the ultimate aim for him to become a grand prix driver of the future."
