Harris: We did it for Hansen

Wales' man of the match Iestyn Harris admitted the players were determined to mark coach Steve Hansen's final game with a victory - and that was exactly what they did in the 44-10 RBS 6 Nations win over Italy.

Hansen - who is returning to his New Zealand homeland after two years in charge of Wales to join the All Blacks' backroom staff - saw his charges enjoy the biggest win of his tenure over a major nation.

"There had been a lot of talk [in the media] about it over the last week and Steve has done a lot for Welsh rugby over the last two years," Harris told BBC1.

"Everyone had it at the back of their minds that we wanted to get that win for him, although we didn't speak about it in general."

Hansen himself admitted: "It doesn't get much better than that. It was a good way to finish.

"We are a tight group and it is not about one person. We have all worked for each other over the last few years.

"To play as well today was pretty satisfying and I have no regrets. There are family reasons for going home. There is no other reason."
