Kidderminster picked up another vital point in their relegation struggle courtesy of a 1-1 draw with Hull City. Hull defender Lee Marshall was carried off on a stretcher after 12 minutes with a serious leg injury suffered in a tackle with Scott Stamps. And the visitors suffered a further setback when Kidderminster scored a well-worked goal midway through the first half. Adam Murray, fed by Mark Yates, threaded a superb throughball to on-loan striker Simon Brown, who crashed a left-footed shot past Boaz Myhill. Hull's Stuart Green hit the crossbar with a curling free-kick from the edge of the penalty area after referee Trevor Kettle had moved the ball on 10 yards. Goalkeeper John Danby came to Kidderminster's rescue with a fine save from Stuart Elliott, and Wayne Hatswell's saving tackle thwarted Ben Burgess's follow-up. But Hull drew level when Elliott robbed Adie Viveash before slipping the ball to leading scorer Burgess to fire home his 16th goal of the season. John Williams hit the crossbar late on for Kidderminster.
